03 May 2023 Package -I-Plastering , white washing , filter media , electrical , mechanical works completed , compound wall work progressing .Power line extension and erection of transformer completed transformer charged on 4/3/22.Raw water pumpset erected, interconnection completed. Laying of Balance pumping main and distribution line work delayed due to Blasting of rock . The publics residing near by areas protest against the blasting of rock . Hence chemical blasting is possible , it takes more time than blasting and 16 m of blasting of rock has to be completed. . The source of the scheme is same as WSS to Thiruvali , The power connection enhancing work completed on 3-5-2023 and power connection to WTP obtained on 10-4-2023. Package -II-Distribution System - 350mm to 200mm DI K 9 pipe, 160mm to 90mm PVC Various class pipes and 150mm to 80mm GI Medium pipes-177.6km - 156 km already completed - Inter connection of GI,MS pipe work progressing - Road restoration work along Edavanna -Thiruvali road Tarring work completed as instructed by the PWD. - The distribution line along aryanthodika rock area ( common for Package I & II ) work progressing - Laying of distribution along Mylongara - Santhipuram road Completed . BM work along Edavanna town completed - Road restoration along Panippara -cherani started. O Malappuram Project Dn

The fund requested from KIIFB , Fund released . KSEB has has submitted the Account details and the demanded amount transferred today. There is a sanction to be obtained from KSEB for fixing the CTPT unit . Expecting sanction to be obtained within two or three days from KSEB. The power connection to WTP has obtained on 10-04-2023.
