  1. What does PASK stands for?
    PASK stands for Project Status Alert System of Kerala Water Authority

  3. How does PASK work?
    Profiles will be created in PASK for all projects of KWA which have obtained administrative sanction (AS). The officers of KWA who are responsible for each project will provide periodic updates on the various projects which are being done in all Kerala level. The public can get this information from PASK website or through mobile phone as SMS. the system will send the updates made by officers as SMS to all users who have subscribed to the particular project.
  4. What is a project?
    A project means any work undertaken by KWA which has obtained administrative sanction (AS) and which is expected to be completed in a particular time frame.
  5. Where can I find the project code?
    The project code can be found in the profile of each project. You can use the search feature in PASK to find the profile of the project you are interested in.
  6. What is the difference between a main project and a package?
    All projects which are submitted to the board for administrative sanction are considered as main projects. A package can be considered as a sub-project or a sub-unit of the main project.
    For example GIDA-WSS KADAMAKKUDY PANCHAYATH is a main project and the sub-tasks which must be done to complete this project like CONSTRUCTION OF OHSR AT KOTHADU, TREATMENT PLANT, LAYING 160/200mm/250 HDPE PUMPING MAIN etc are considered as packages.
  7. How much does the SMS costs?
    SMS cost are fully dependent on your service provider. Normally one SMS to PASk will be charged the rate for one national SMS in India. Currently PASK do not support international SMS subscriptions.
  8. What is the format of SMS to be sent?
    The format for various SMS supported in PASK are:

  9. I have registered my mobile number in NCPR (DND). Will I receive SMS from PASK?
    Yes. The National Customer Preference Register(NCPR) rules of TRAI explicitly allows "any message transmitted on the directions of central Government or State Government or agencies authorized by it". PASK is an application of the Kerala Water Authority which is a body under the Govt of Kerala. But if you feel that you are getting spam messages or too many messages from PASK, kindly drop a word at http://pask.kwa.kerala.gov.in/contactus and we will block your mobile number there by preventing any further SMS from PASK.
  10. How can I stop receiving updates in my mobile?
    You can unsubscribe from the projects you have subscribed using the website (http://pask.kwa.kerala.gov.in/subscribe/cancel) or via SMS. Once you are unsubscribed, you will not receive any SMS regarding that project.
  11. If I give my mobile number in this website, will you use it for sending promotional SMSs?
    PASK places high value to your privacy. Any information collected from you is completely safe and will not be used for any sort of promotional purposes. The data will not be given to any other organizations/entities in any conditions.   12. I have subscribed to a project in PASK but I am not getting SMS. What should I do?
    When the network traffic is high, the SMS may take some time to get delivered. Normally SMS will be delivered in less than 2 minutes but in some cases it may take hours. If you are not receiving the SMS even after 3-4 hours, you can try subscribing again via web or via SMS.
  13. What can I do if I am getting spam messages from this website in my mobile?

  14. I can't find the KWA project near my home in this website. What can I do?
    Sometimes. the project name or other details might not have the text you searched for. In that case, you can try searching the website using different keywords. If you still cant find it, there are chances that the profile of the particular project might not be created in PASK. You can contact your KWA divisional office and enquire about the same.
  15. I can see some graphs in the page of project. What does it indicate?
    The line graph indicates a comparison between the estimated and actual progress of the project. It can be used to understand whether the project is progressing at the estimated speed or not. The pie chart shows the amount of work completed in the project and how much is remaining.
  16. When I subscribe to a project in this website, it says "Type the sum of give numbers". What should I do?
    This is a security measure used to prevent automated scripts from misusing PASK. When you see this message, just type in the sum of the numbers displayed in the image in to the box provided.
  17. I can see a map on the project page. What does it mean?
    The maps shows the location where the project is being implemented.
  18. What is "Project Schedule"?
    The project schedule gives information about the dates on which various phases of the project is expected to be complete.
