Out of 28130 meters of pipe-laying work 26870.50 meters of work were completed. Cathodic protection work (70% completed) is in progress. 510 M Road concreting and Leak rectification work completed at nanthirikkal. Road Restoration work Punthalathazham - Vasoorichira WTP site completed. Package X - Augmentation of Kollam corporation - Phase l - Construction of Transformer building for Raw water, Approach road, Rubble wall for protecting Lakeshore and retaining wall at intake well site Njankadavu and Construction of transformer building for clear water pump house at Vasoorichira - Work tendered twice. Received single bid offer. Tender scrutinized at SE office and submitted to C.E on 12/01/2022. On 27/01/2022 C.E prequalified the tender. The awarded work amount was 8.5% above TPAC. However, as the quoted rate was 43.8% above TPAC, the tender was cancelled. Hence it was retendered with due date of 17/03/2022 and extended up to 24/03/2022, then to 5/4/2022 and 13/4/2022. However, no offers were received. Retender was due on 16/04/2022. No offers were received and hence tender was cancelled and revised estimate was submitted for revised TS.
