Even after the retendering of work for several times the work of transformer building cancelled as per the direction of higher officials and the work is clubbed with pumpset. Package 8 Construction of Transformer building for Raw water, Approach road, Rubble wall for protecting Lake shore and retaining wall at intake well site Njankadavu and Construction of transformer building for clear water pump house at Vasoorichira - TS issued by CE(SR)on 07/07/22 .Work tendered with submission date 4-8-2022 and opening date 6-8-2022. Since no offers were received, the work will be retendered with submission date 3-9-2022 and opening date 5-9-2022.No offers were received then extended upto 12/09/2022.Since no offers were received, the work will be retendered with submission date 1-10-2022 and opening date 3-10-2022. One offer received. Technical bid submitted to CE(SR) for pre-qualification on 12/10/2022. Pre-qualification Minutes received on 21/10/2022.Final Pre-qualification is under processing. Price bid opened on 3/10/2022.One offer received, Quated rate 36% above the TPAC. Submitted to CE(SR) for tender sanction on 07/11/2022.Selection notice was issued on 11.11.22 but contractor not willing to execute the work at awarded rate. Submit a letter to Ce(sr)on 18.11.22 regarding the request of contractor about the reluctance to carry out the work at awarded amount. CE directed to recast the estimate in price 3 on 2/12/2022. Estimate re casted ,submitted and re-submitted on 13/02/2023. Work tendered and last date of bid submission on 25/04/2023.Tender cancelled because of the non participation of bidders and the work will be retender with Submission date 18/05/2023 and Opening Date 19/05/2023.
