29 Dec 2022 1. Construction of Intake Well Cum Pumphouse at Thumbathadam : 8 m dia intake well construction work is in progress. RCC work of well steining is ongoing. 2. Raw Water and Clear water Pumping Mains and transmission mains: All the required pipes as per NIT is supplied by the contractor. Total 13 km pipe laid out of 21.20 km. 3. Construction of 4.00 MLD Water Treatment Plant at Kannadipoyil : 80% of the work is completed. Construction work of clarifier is ongoing. Finishing work of WTP building is in progress. Filter media work yet to be started. 4. Construction of 6.50 L.L capacity OHSR at Water Treatment Plant at Kannadipoyil for Zone-I : Work is in good progress. RCC work upto deck beam is completed. 5.Construction of 4.50 L.L capacity OHSR at Vellora and 0.50 L.L Break pressure tank at Perumbadavu for Zone-II : RCC of columns and brace beams of 4.5 LL OHSR is in progress. Construction work of 0.50LL BP tank at Perumbadavu yet to be started. 6. Supplying and Laying Distribution Network for Zone-I & Zone-II : All the required pipes as per NIT is supplied by the contractor. Total 110 km pipe laid out of 202 km. HTC work is also in progress. Total 627 HTC provided out of 6543. 7. Supply Erection of Raw water and Clear water pump sets at Intake Well, Booster and WTP Pump houses , Construction of 4.50m RCC weir at Thumbathadam etc not started. Payyannur UIDSSMT AE 3
