24 Jul 2023 The site leveling of the sump of WTP was started, but rain hinter the works. The full area required for the Vattapparambu tank has not been handed over by the Panchayath. The concreting of the plinth brace of a portion of Kalamparambu tank was completed. The approach bridge is in progress. Heavy rain started and hence, excavation for distribution not possible since the public raise objections. Malappuram Sn AE 1

The Reinforcement of the RCC footing of OHSR Kalanparambu is progressing and footing concreting is in progress. The land for OHSR Vattapparambu is not started yet because the handing over of land to KWA is still in procedure at Panchayath. DI pipes have not arrived. Laying work is almost completed in the Peringottupulam ward, but DI pipes have not arrived. As the rain started, the public raises objections for cutting the road and the panchayath body also passes a resolution not to allow cutting unless otherwise execute an agreement by KWA with Secretary regarding the restoration.
