15 Apr 2021 KIIFB-WSS to Karode & adjoining villages AS obtained on 7-09-2019 under KIIFB for Rs. 89.18 crore.The scheme comprises 9 m dia intake well at Mavilakadavu, RWPM 600 mm DI from Mavilakadavu to Ponvilla, 16mld WTP & 30 LL OHSR at Ponvilla,17 LL OHSR at Kudumbottukonam(Chenkal), 15LL OHSR at Ambalikonam (Karode) and 15 LL OHSR at Kulathur. Land for the various components was not in full possession of KWA till date. For WTP at Ponvilla 2 acres of land was needed. Special Thahasildar Neyyattinkara was addressed for Land acquisition on 21/07/2018. On 7/01/2021 Ponnumvila Special Thahasildar fixed fair value for the land as 8,13,35000/- & on 21-01-2021 online request was forwarded to KIIFB for fund allocation. The cost of land purchased at Ponvilla was approved by KIIFB and was remitted to collectrate account. For well cum pumphouse at Mavilakadavu- report was submitted to handover the requested land (from Thahasildar Neyyattinkara). For the construction of 15 LL OHSR at Karode land, panchayath resolution was obtained on 24-08-2020.But immediate construction activities are not possible as 2 families has to be evicted. For the 17 LL OHSR at Chenkal, the original land proposed to KWA was not handed over by Chenkal panchayath authorities instead by Chenkal panchayath authorities instead another land of 20 cent at Udayankulangara on 21-08-2020 KWA is in possession of GO allocating land for the construction of 15 LL capacity OHSR at Kulathur on 3/11/2020. Estimate for all the components except p/m & t/m prepared & send for approval. Soil tests was completed & got report Thiruvananthapuram Project AE2
