| Description |
The treatment plant is proposed to be constructed adjoining to the existing 12.5 MLD WTP of UWSS to Kottayam municipality,situated at Peroor in Ayarkunnam panchayath in Kottayam District. Peroor is located about 7 km North East of Kottayam town which is about 1 km away from Perumthuruthy-Manarcadu-Ettumanoor bypass road.The scope of work includes Design,Construction and commissioning of 50 MLD output capacity conventional type water treatment plant and allied works at Peroor,30 LL clear water sump and pumphouse,supply and erection of 2 nos(1 standby transformers and allied works,clear water pumpsets and accessories-2 nos,construction of compound wall,interconnection works with existing pipes by laying pipelines of size 1100mm to 150 mm DI,demolishing unwanted existing structures,construction of roads,drains and landscaping works,supply and installing electromagnetic flow meters of size 1000mm,600mm,500 mm one each,providing solar panel,operation and maintainence of plants during one year maintainance period etc... |

Regarding energisation of WTP from new feeder,all relevant documents submitted to KSEB for approval.KSEB has reverted for deposit RS 20.34 lacs as additional cash deposit fund request is made to HO. On energisation,WTP can be charged fully subject to availability of water from RWPH.
