26 May 2022 Administration sanction was accorded for the project on 21/8/2020 for an amount of Rs. 49.07 crores vide AS No. G.O (Rt) No. 541/2020/WRD. Initial technical sanction was then accorded on 25/1/2021 for an amount of Rs. 8.09 crores vide T.S No. 15310/2020-21 of CE-SR.  First tender (T.No – 146/2020-21/SE/Q) was invited on 29/1/2021 with due date on 8/2/2021 with TPAC amount of Rs. 4.94 crores. As no bids were received, the tender was therefore revoked.  It was later retendered (T.No – 155/2020-21/SE/Q) on 10/2/2021 with due date on 22/2/2021 and a single bid was received from M/s Hitech Construction Group with Rs 5.16 crores. (4.3% above TPAC)  As the quoted amount was 14.97% below the LMR PAC, Chief Engineer (Southern Region) had sanctioned to award the work to M/s Hitech Construction Group vide order no. KWA/CE (SR)/PHQ/JJM/1319/2020 – dated 26/2/2021.  Selection notice was issued to M/s Hitech Construction Group on 26/2/2021.  The Contractor had signed the agreement on 15/04/2021 and started execution of works from 26/7/2021.  The contractor had provided 3300 connections out of 5850 connections so far Kollam Project HD
