01 Jun 2021 Package 1 and 2 completed and for Package 3-Road cutting permission applied through ROW for different PWD roads in Kuttanad taluk and PWD given the road restoration charge. Road restoration charge remitted to PWD Alappuzha Division on 5-3-2021 and the stamp paper submitted to the PWD roads subdivision Kuttanad but the agreement is not executed. There is a road cutting ban on PWD roads during election time up to 2-5-2021 and after that the inter connection works in panchayath roads started and the works stopped due to high water table in Kuttanad. 04 Dec 2020 4.5LL OHSR at Thakazhy Panchayath commissioned by pumping water using newly erected 15hp pumpsets at WTP Karumadi .The 500mm pipeline out let of tank connected to the existing line before the railway crossing, by this the house holds in that area will get the treated water. At Veliyanad panchayath hdpe pipe laying works and MS/GI pipe culvert crossing done after getting PWD road cutting permisssion on October 2020 and charging and trial running started. In Edathua Panchyath Distribution line charged from the existing OHSR at Edathua Office compound. Thalavady, Muttar and Thakazhy panchayath MS pipe gap filling works are in progress.
