Pipe laying works, gap closing and interconnection works could not be proceeded due to rise in water table during heavy rains. Work resumed on 17/12/2021. For package 3 pipe laying works Road cutting permission applied through ROW portal for different PWD roads in Kuttanad taluk and PWD demanded the road restoration charge. Road restoration charge remitted to PWD Alappuzha Division on 5-3-2021 , the documents submitted to the PWD roads subdivision Kuttanad and the agreement is not yet executed. There is a road cutting ban on PWD roads during election time up to 2-5-2021 and after that the inter connection works in panchayath roads started and the works stopped due to high water table in Kuttanad.
