Technical specification In this project it is proposed to provide 5027 Nos. FHTCs in Peralassery gramapanchayath by augmentation of existing water supply scheme to Anjarakkandy,Peralasserry and adjoining panchayaths.There are total 6655 Nos. households in PeralasserygramaPanchayath out of which 1628 are already having FHTCs. In this Jal Jeevan mission project for Peralassery GramaPanchayath it is envisaged to provide FHTC to all balance 5027 households by augmentation of existing water supply system in this panchayath. In this work it is proposed to extend distribution line for a length of 42 Kms, so as to provide water connection to whole 5027 nos of house hold. In this proposed extension for 90mm dia pipes are of 11000 meters, 75mm dia pipes are of 22000 meters and 50mm dia pipes are of 9000 meters, Wherever possible minimum size of pipe is taken as 90mm dia as per pipe policy. However where the existing pipe line is of 75mm dia the extensions proposed are also 75mm dia and 50mm dia extensions proposed for SME (Street Main Extension. In the estimate providing and fixing 80mm dia CI valves, 65mm dia GM valves, 25mm dia CI air valves etc are included as per requirement based on site conditions. Provision for protection tubes are provided for air valves and protection tubes with surface box are provided for control valves. Pipe line extensions proposed along panchayat roads which at certain locations are having recently laid bitumen surfaces. For the reformation of these road cuttings, provision for laying of granular sub base (GSB) is included in the estimate. For culvert crossing with exposed pipes provision for 65mm dia GI, 80mm dia GI and pipes are included in the estimate.Total estimate amount for Pipe line extension and providing 5027 FHTCs in PeralasseryPanchayath under Jal Jeevan Mission comes to 1033 Lakhs as per the detailed estimate.15% of the estimate cost will be met by Panchayath contribution and 10% of estimate cost will be met by beneficiary contribution. As a step towards achieving the objectives of Jal Jeevan Mission, sanction may please be accorded for implementation of project.
