The project was removed from Amrut 1.0 . Revised AS as per order no. G.O(Rt)No. 2764/2025/LSGD dated 10.11.2025 for an AS amount of 60.6 Cr has been accorded for the said work under AMRUT 2.0. A letter was sent to the Irrigation Department, the implementing department, on 17/12/2025 to prepare and submit the detailed estimate with design for according TS and arrangements of work. Irrigation department not yet submitted the DPR or estimate and AMRUT and Kollam municipal Corporation authorities planned to arrange the work directlly through Irrigation Department or KIIDC ltd. The Superintending Engineer has given a letter to the Managing Director vide letter no. KWA/PHC/KLM/WEIR/D2/3715 dated 19/9/2026 for the consideration of SHPSC approval regarding the Technical Sanction, Tendering, Execution of agreement and bill payments through Irrigation Department itself. .
