The original proposal was to connect the overflow /scour pipes to the drain behind the compound. In the final stage, residents, Corporation councillor erc objected. MLA, MAYOR, KWA higher officials involved to resolve it but they have not yielded and decided to take the drain through main road to Vadathode as additional work costing about 26 Lakhs. PWD, Traffic permission etc was needed for this additional work |
