Technical specification There is a wide gap between the demand and supply in these panchayaths there by creating acute scarcity of water during summer seasons. The transmission mains and distribution mains are of CI ,AC and PVC pipes. These pipe lines are above 36 years old and Leakages in AC and PVC these pipe lines are very frequent and water supply gets interrupted. Also many roads existing project area is improved to BM & BC standards and widened, hence the alignment of these pipe lines, which are laid years back are now almost inside the tarred surface of the road and towards center of the road in many places. As the design period of the scheme has already expired augmentation of the scheme is essential for equitable distribution of water in this area.
