| 13 Jul 2023 | The work delayed due to the pending permission of road cutting due to the unavailability of 1.3 Cr for RR charges for long time. 4km permission need to be obtained from KRFB in which the road is proposed for widening. Hence the pipeline can be laid only after new alignment fixing and formation of road. Contractor refused to lay the balance pipelines due to his pending payments of previous part bills. Bill submitted for Rs 23674697/-against cc5th and part bill as per direction for the completed works and is pending with HO for fund and payment. After remitting the same , PWD issued sanction for Pazhayidam- Chenapady road only saying the estimate taken in 2019 need to be revised which will be evaluated after completing the work on the permitted road ,. The work in the same is completed . Gap connection works and the commissioning of the laid pipeline works are in progress. 4km permission need to be obtained from KRFB in wich the road is proposed for widening. RR charges was pending since 2019 for Rs 1.3 cr and the amount released on 26/05/2021 only and then the PWD objected sanction due to the revision in RR charges. Subsequent to the meeting held by the district collector on 29/09/2021 ,a meeting had with PWD EE and other field officers on 30.09.2021 in their office. Given permission to lay pipes in Manimala-Pazhayidam-Chenappady road from ch.4 to ch.15 . PWD will rework the road restoration estimate after the works in the road are completed as the rates are revised. PWD has rejected the request for laying pipes in Erumely-Mukkada road citing it is new BM & BC Road. Regarding Koratty-Orunkal Kadav road decision is kept pending to evaluate whether the amount is balance / excess required in the 1.3 Cr remitted after the allowed 10km laying completed. After the meeting by SE , PHC , the contractor restarted the work on 20/05/2022 and the laying of 400mm,300mm & 200mm DI along Pazhayidam - Chenappadi - Erumely is under progress. 9km out of 10km completed. Other three roads were applied along with JJM also.
