Package 2 work ongoing 4.5km laying permission through Mooleplav- Powath Kavala road to be obtained from PWD. PWD denied as there is a vigilance enquiry going on the same road against their work. 04 Feb 2022 30km /38.6km laid. 1.7 KM to be laid through NH 183 (KK road) application pending with MoRTH. 735FHTC/2100 completed . Protest by the panchayath against doing work without RR of panchayath roads delaying the work as the provision for RR was less in the work Kottayam Project Dn AE1
28 Nov 2021 Sanction was accorded in the District Infrastructure Meeting (DIC) held on 22.11.2021 to lay pipes for 2.6 km along Kanjirapally- Manimala Road which was handed over to KRFB by PWD . Accordingly pipe laying works started on 27.11.2021. Kottayam Project Dn EE
07 Nov 2021 24.5 km out of 38.6km laid . 1.7 KM to be laid through NH 183 (KK road) application pending with MoRTH. 2.6km sanction to be obtained from PWD for laying through Kanjirapally- Manimala Road which is handed over to KRFB for work. 4km line included in this work is included in the KSTP road work and the same to be laid wherever necessary as rider lines once the KSTP work completed. Other road works in progress .650 out of 2100 FHTC completed. Work is getting delayed due to the protest by the panchayath & public while cutting to be made through newly concreted /tarred roads and the provision for restoration was less in the work. Original date of completion was 05/05/2021 and the Application from contractor is submitted to higher officefor extension up to 30-11-2021. Kottayam Project Dn AE1
