| Description |
This proposed project is for the implementation of the production components up to water treatment plant of the water supply scheme designed to provide adequate drinking water to the entire population in Elavanchery, Pallassena, Erimayur, Alathur, Kavassery and Puducode grama panchayath of Palakkad district with source as Pothundy Dam.
The existing multiple intake in the well inside the reservoir which is currently used as raw water intake for CWSS to Nenmara Ayilur & Melarcode is proposed to be utilized for this scheme also.
Phase I of the project was sanctioned under KIIFB funding for Rs. 17.58 Crores and includes the components such as construction of 26 MLD Water treatment plant, supplying, laying 600mm DI K9 pipe for Raw water pumping main for 280m including Road restoration, supply & erection of RW Pump set and 630 KVA Transformer, Land acquisition for construction of OHSR in second phase, Power connection charge |
