Total length of pipeline proposed in this project is, 150 mm DI pipe - 5500 m, 50 mm G.I pipe - 800m, 80 mm G.I pipe - 300 m, 90 mm PVC pipe - 1000 m, 110 mm PVC pipe - 3000 m, 20 mm connection pipe - 200 m, Total 10800 m. The contractor (M/S Minartech Developers Pvt. Ltd ) supplied 150 mm DI pipe 1782 m and 90 mm PVC pipe 1002 m. Only 150 mm DI pipe 2280 m laid from Koothattukulam junction to Navodaya plant by using departmental pipe also(575m) and pumping started to Kumbithode booster pump house. 90 mm PVC pipe laying started from Achadipara to Vahamukk and 725 m laid.The contractor agreed on 03/07/22 that,he will complete the supply and laying work of balance pipe on 20/07/22.But the contractor has not completed the work till date and not even supplied a single piece of DIK9 pipe. Hence letter given to higher office for giving notice for completing the work at contractors risk and cost and recommended for black listing the contractor. Superintending Engineer extended period of completion upto 31/12/2022.But the contractor have not yet supplied 150mm DI pipes required for the work.Hence notice issued to contractor on 25/11/2022 for completing the work |
